We Would Rather Fund Your Masjid Than Fund an Ad.

Every brand spends money on marketing. Most of that money goes to Facebook, Google, TikTok, and Instagram — platforms that profit from the Muslim community without investing in it.

We made a different choice.

The Masjid Affiliate Program

When a mosque joins our affiliate program, 20% of every sale they refer goes directly back to the masjid.

Here is how it works:

For mosques:

  • Your masjid gets a unique referral link
  • When someone buys through that link, you earn 20% of the sale — that is 10% affiliate commission plus an extra 10% that Zim Zam contributes from our margin
  • Your community members get 10% off their purchase

For individuals:

  • Regular affiliates earn 10% of every sale they refer
  • The person they refer gets 10% off
  • No fees, no platform costs, no strings

"Instead of paying Facebook and TikTok and Instagram, Google — all of these companies that essentially harm Muslims — we want to empower the Muslim community to market for us."

Abel, Zim Zam co-founder

This is not a charity program bolted onto a business. This is how we chose to build the business. Every dollar that would have gone to an algorithm goes to someone in the Ummah instead.

The custom website was built from scratch partly for this reason. Other platforms charge per-affiliate fees, monthly subscriptions, and take a cut of every transaction. We eliminated all of that so the money stays where it belongs — in your community.

Zim Zam as Aid

We are building toward something larger. We want to be honest about where we are.

The vision: ship Zim Zam mineral packets directly to families in war-torn areas. Not cash donations. The actual product.

The product's form factor makes this genuinely practical:

  • A bag of mineral blend weighs almost nothing
  • It ships in a flat envelope for $1.50
  • It is shelf-stable for years
  • One bag provides 50-150 servings of essential electrolytes and minerals
  • It works with any clean water source

When clean water is all a family has, adding minerals to it is not a luxury. It is nutrition.

A portion of every sale is set aside for this mission. We are accumulating that fund now. When it is large enough and we find the right distribution partner, we will begin shipping product to the communities that need it most.

What is real today:

  • A portion of every sale is set aside in a dedicated fund
  • The product is designed for exactly this kind of distribution — lightweight, cheap to ship, long shelf life, high nutritional value
  • Abel has connections to people who travel to and work in conflict zones

What we are building toward:

  • A formal partnership with an aid organization that can distribute product in the field
  • A transparent accounting of funds raised and product shipped
  • A goal of reaching families in multiple regions
  • Public reporting on this page as milestones are reached

We will not claim impact we have not made. We will update this page as we grow.

"I want to help the Ummah. I'm envisioning this getting all around the world one day — and when stuff hits the fan, this keeps us alive and gives us an advantage over people who don't have this."

Abel, Zim Zam co-founder

Why This Exists

This company started with a prayer.

Abel had been running a business that no longer aligned with his faith. He had been asking God for a way out — something that would help the Ummah, not just make money. He was not looking for a product idea when a friend's offhand comment about Zamzam water sent him down the rabbit hole that became Zim Zam.

He views the company as a gift from God. The mission is not something we added later. It is why the company exists.

The recipe is not a secret. Abel tells anyone who asks exactly what is in the blend and where to buy the ingredients. The generosity is structural — it is built into the DNA. The affiliate program, the mosque commissions, the aid vision — these are not marketing strategies. They are the point.
