Ramadan
At suhoor and iftar. Maximize mineral absorption during the limited eating window. The product was built by someone who fasted before Islam and knows what your body needs when the window is short.
Zim Zam is designed to be the simplest part of your day. One scoop turns a bottle of water into the closest thing to Zamzam water's mineral profile you can drink at home. No flavor to mask. No sugar to dissolve. No instructions manual.
Each order comes with two bags: a large sealed refill bag and a smaller dosing bag with a measuring spoon inside. Open the dosing bag. The refill stays sealed until you need it.
One level scoop. About one gram. That is one serving.
Drop one scoop into a 16-ounce water bottle. For a liter, use one and a half to two scoops. Shake or stir.
You have upgraded your water. That is it.
Best served cold. The taste is clean — like glacier water or a high-quality spring water. Not sweet, not flavored, not colored. Just water that tastes better.
For all-day hydration, do what the founders do: fill a three-gallon jug, add proportional scoops, stir, and drink from it throughout the day. A constant, moderate mineral supply instead of one concentrated dose.
"It tastes like glacier water. Like you've upgraded your water to a high-quality mineral water, but it still tastes like water."
Abel, Zim Zam co-founder
Most electrolyte blends taste like candy. That is by design — they add sugar and artificial flavors to mask overdosed minerals. Zim Zam has nothing to mask. Six ingredients, all minerals, all in moderate doses. The result tastes like what it is: mineralized water.
If you have ever had European mineral water from a glass bottle or water from a mountain spring, that is the closest comparison.
A note on the calcium: You may notice a fine sediment settle to the bottom of your glass. That is calcium citrate — it does not fully dissolve. This is normal. It is what happens when you put real calcium in water instead of hiding it behind sugar. Give your bottle a shake before the last few sips.
Temperature matters. Cold water brings out the clean mineral taste. Some people do not enjoy it warm. We recommend it cold.
This is where Zim Zam is fundamentally different from every other electrolyte blend on the market.
Most electrolyte products are meant to be used once or twice a day. They overdose on one or two minerals — usually sodium — which means drinking more than the recommended serving can actually harm you. If you used most electrolyte blends every time you drank water, you would get sick.
Zim Zam is the opposite. Each scoop delivers approximately one-tenth of your daily mineral needs, balanced the way Zamzam water is balanced. That means you can use it up to twelve times a day, spaced throughout the day. It is designed for all-day sipping, not one-time chugging.
There is a reason for this. Recent studies show that the best way to absorb minerals is through small, moderate doses over a consistent period of time. Large single doses — the kind most electrolyte brands sell — waste roughly 80% of the minerals and can be harmful in excess. The moderate approach is better science.
It is also better theology.
"Islam is called the middle nation. That is what this is. This is in the middle. This is between water and other electrolyte blends."
Abel, Zim Zam co-founder
Wasatiyyah — the Islamic principle of moderation, the middle way — is not just a spiritual idea. It is the design philosophy behind the product.
Plain water has almost no minerals. Most electrolyte blends overdose on a few. Zim Zam sits in between. More minerals than water. Fewer than an electrolyte bomb. No single mineral in an extreme amount — all of them in a ratio that mirrors a water source 1,400 years old.
The middle path is not a compromise. It is the design.

Every glass of water, all day. The jug method. Replace your regular water with something your body can actually use.
Light, balanced electrolytes without the sugar crash. No artificial ingredients to process.
The flat bag fits in a carry-on. The powder is TSA-friendly. For Hajj and Umrah prep, start mineralizing your water weeks before you travel.
Safe for kids, safe for adults, safe for the elderly. The only contraindication is babies under six months — and they should not be drinking water at all.
Every order includes:
The two-bag system is not an accident. Most brands give you one bag — you open it, expose the entire supply to air, and quality degrades over time. Ours keeps most of your product sealed while you use from the dosing bag. It also enables flat envelope shipping at $1.50.
